As a Geography major in college, I have a natural interest in the land. When I saw a need for a good full time Real Estate agent in the San Juan Ridge area of Nevada, Yuba and Sierra Counties I decided I would be that agent. This decision was made after talking to my many friends on “The Ridge” about just such a need. I have been a property owner on San Juan Ridge since 1970 and have an excellent working knowledge of the area.

I attend seminars and classes offered by various Real Estate oriented businesses and keep up with the Real Estate Bulletins posted by the National Association of Realtors, the California Association of Realtors and the Nevada County Board of Realtors. I chose Network because it is the best Real Estate company in Nevada County and it gives me the support I need to give my clients the professional service they deserve. Network Real Estate offers me on going training by Five Star, good legal advice and a real family atmosphere.

Before becoming a Realtor I was the Supervisor of Airport Services for Delta Airlines at San Francisco Internatioinal Airport. I bought a get-away home on “The Ridge” 32 years ago to enjoy the natural beauty, great cultural activities and small town atmosphere of North San Juan and Nevada City. I am currently a member of the Sons of Norway and the historical society of E Clampus Vitus. The “Clampers” place plaques on historical sites, join in holiday parades and offer scholarships to deserving local students. I enjoy the local live theater, reading, hiking, fishing, hunting and prospecting in my leisure time.

I have a son and two grandsons who live in the Bay Area and enjoy visiting often. My home is on 5 forested acres with a pond and creek that has a beautiful waterfall.  I fell in love with this place and bought it the day I first saw it. I like the San Juan Ridge area because of it’s solitude and natural beauty. It is away from the hustle and bustle yet it is only 12 miles to downtown Nevada City.
